Megan,

I don't claim to be an expert but there are a few things I see - you are very pretty but you don't smile and you don't look like you are engaged with the camera. Don't look bored and learn how to pose.

I hope this is helpful.

These are a couple of pictures I took last night. The model is involved with the camera and photographer. For pictures to look great there needs to be a theme and the photos need to be planned by the model and photog.

Cheers

Here are some things you should know. There is an incredible pressure on woman to be thin and in my opinion a double standard. To be thin and tall as the runway models. A stature that isn't normal. There are several studies that show that the majority of woman often think they are overweight when they aren't. Society in the US has put incredible pressure on women to be beautiful and thin. There is so much pressure that women often result to starving themselves or binging and throwing up afterwards. Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia are the result of woman that go to extraordinary efforts to be thin.

The truth about models. If you have ever seen models they look perfect and beautiful. The reality is that so much pre-production work is done to make them look perfect. Hair stylists, Makeup Artists, lighting, editing, etc can make a model look perfect when she isn't. I wanted to say this to you to keep everything in perspective. Even if you have a round edge the good positioning, editing, photographic technique, etc. you can make a person ordinary into extraordinary.
